About.

The colors that were chosen to represent JJ ​​and give it life and personality are aqua blue, navy blue and white.  Aqua blue reflects the tranquility and peace with which our work team works daily trying to to minimize stress situations in our work environment. Navy Blue represents that commitment of loyalty not only to our clients but also to the people who  are part of our team. Balancing the commitment of hard and dedicated work to to be able to provide our families with their needs. White represents honesty and transparency and is what you can expect from our company. The letters JJ in the logo represent Jehovah Jireh “Our God provides”.

Established in 2018

Carlos looked to establish his very own reefer tech business in 2018 after working in the industry for over 8 years, he founded J.J. Transport Refrigeration.
J.J. for Jehovah Jireh “The Lord Will Provide”.

Carlos has synthesized his knowledge, experience he gain from working in his father’s business in Puerto Rico, to servicing the Central Florida community throughout years to establish this new business venture that has now expanded to 7 full-time employees. ​

Our Goal

J.J. Transport Refrigeration services our Central Florida community and clients such as Sunny Morning Foods, Taylor Farms, Florida Utility Trailers Inc., Granite Inliner, Plaza Provisions, Commerce International Inc., PAS Logistics and more.
We are grateful to God for the blessings of health and prosperity because it’s because through him that we are able to provide our excellent services to our clients.

Carlos Reyes
Owner

 Carlos is a Father to Amanda and Bryant and Husband to Santos. He was born and raised in Puerto Rico and began his career as a reefer tech at the age of 12, working in his dad’s refer tech business. There he discovered his love for machines. Carlos graduated from the Thomas C. Ongay Vocational School in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. There he earned his title as refrigeration technician. In 1997, he continued his studies at the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico to become and engineer. However, In 1999, he paused his studies to help his father’s business.
​​At the age of 23, Carlos went on his own to build his own business as a refrigeration technician based in Toa Baja, PR. There he provided services to clients across the island such as Northwest Transportation, Suarez Transport, Ponderosa Restaurants, Mr. Special and more. Slowly but surely, Carlos began building his reputation as one of the most honest, humble, professional and hardworking technicians of Puerto Rico. None of which would’ve been possible without his father’s help.
​In 2010, as life deteriorated in Puerto Rico, he and his family moved to central Florida where his first job at the states was at Walt Disney World as an engineer over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. In his 8-month working at Disney, he received 5 commendations and 8 awards for his work at The Walt Disney Company.

​Then in 2011, he was back to doing the job he loved most, working as a refrigeration technician, this time working with Sunbelt Transport Refrigeration, where he worked for 8 consecutive years, showcasing his impeccable integrity to his job.

Edwar Perez

Technician

Edwar Perez was born on March 10, 1986, in Pamplona, Colombia. From a young age, his curiosity led him to take apart toys to understand how they worked. Noticing this, his  grandfather began teaching him mechanics at the age of six. After graduating from school, Edwar started working at a refrigeration company and later graduated as an electronics technologist. Throughout his career, he has continued to learn and refine his refrigeration skills.
Edwar is passionate about his work and is known for his responsibility, integrity, and constant smile. He enjoys what he does, and this passion is reflected in the quality of his work.

Bryant Y. Gipull
Marketing Manager

Bryant Y. Gipull is the son of Santos Garcia and Carlos Reyes. He has been with JJTR since its inception, serving as the Marketing Manager. Currently, he works remotely from Pennsylvania, contributing to various company projects behind the scenes.
Bryant is an accomplished actor, director, and theater producer, having graduated from UART with a major in Theater Acting, Production, and Direction, and a minor in Business Administration. He greatly admires the talent and creativity of individuals.
In his free time, Bryant enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and watching different theater shows

Amanda Reyes
Administrative Assistant

Amanda Reyes, daughter of Santos Garcia and Carlos Reyes, has been part of JJ Transport Refrigeration since 2019. Growing up around trucks, she has developed a passion for helping the office team and contributing to the growth of the family business.
Amanda is also a member of the Circle Christian Theatre Company, where she proudly showcases the talents the Lord has blessed her with. When she's not working or performing in the theater, Amanda enjoys spending time with God and her family, going on fun adventures, watching "Fast and the Furious," dancing all day, and much more. She finds great joy in life.
In the future, Amanda aspires to integrate business and fitness, incorporate other disciplines, and have a family.

David Villegas 
Shop Manager

Born in Guayabo, Puerto Rico, in 1975, David grew up in a humble family in the small neighborhood of Piedras Blancas. From an early age, his parents instilled in him the values of the gospel. Although he initially had an interest in mechanics, he eventually pursued studies in electricity and refrigeration.

In February 2014, David moved to the USA, seeking opportunities for his family. After a time of prayer, he received a job opportunity that transformed his life. Joining Sunbelt, he met Carlos Reyes, a remarkable mentor and friend who introduced him to the field of refrigerated transportation. This career change brought many wonderful experiences and significantly improved his family's life.

David is eternally grateful to God, Carlos Reyes, and his family, as well as his friend Jaime Card, who played crucial roles in his professional development. He credits his success to the support and guidance of these individuals.

Santos "Beba" Melissa Garcia
Owner

Santos M. Garcia, also known as Melissa or Beba, was born in Caguas, PR. In 2010, she moved to Central Florida with her husband, Carlos Reyes, and their children. Since then, the family has witnessed the fulfillment of many of God's promises in their lives.

Santos began her entrepreneurial journey at the age of 15, starting her own nail technician business in Puerto Rico. She has a deep passion for managing and structuring businesses. Her dream job involves helping with the financial aspects of businesses, customer service, and employee management.
In addition to being an entrepreneur, Santos is a dedicated mother and wife. She cherishes family time, homeschools her daughter, and nurtures her faith.
JJTR was created as a result of an answered prayer, and Santos is committed to giving all the honor and glory to God.
